Trying To Recharge A/c On 325c Caterpillar Excavator?
I Have a good understanding of how the A/c works, but I need help finding the low pressure switch. right now the machine is so low on refidgerant that the compressor is kicking off. I know i need to jump the low pressure switch across, I just can’t find it. thank you.

Rather than jumping the switch, you should be able to do it by floating the refrigerant canister in warm water. The heat will drive enough freon into the system to kick start the compressor. The water will get cold in a hurry that way, but if you keep changing it you can get the charge in pretty quickly.
Jumping the low pressure switch can be hard on the compressor.

trace the lines from the evaporator to the compressor. it should be somewhere between. other than that I have no specific experience with heavy equipment
