After 1000 Years What Household Materials Will Be Preserved?

If the world were to end today and in 1000 years someone was to excavate a house what would be preserved? For example would materials made of metal, aluminum, plastic, cloth, wood, electronics be preserved?

  1. sixpak66 Says:

Plastics, Polyethylene, Lead, Glass, Stainless steel, Vinyls, Fibreglass

  2. Therman Murman Says:

    Plastic will be.
    Metal would rust.
    Cloth and wood would decompose
    Aluminum might actually survive too.
